Looking for an efficient stove that will do its job well? You reached the right place. Buzzrake analyzed thousands of user opinions on the performance of ranges, which revealed the following points:
- Price is not a good indicator of efficiency. In other words, you don't need to spend $2000 to get a good stove. The models rated highest for performance cost $1200 on average, which is within the medium price range. Some of the models cost even less ($500-$900 online, which is considered budget-friendly).
- Some types of ranges perform far better than others. According to user opinions, the most efficient stoves are the models with large ovens (at least 5 cubic feet). These models also tend to receive the best cumulative scores. In addition, convection ranges reportedly deliver better results than non-convection ones, particularly when it comes to baking. But there are several exceptions - some of the ranges on the list (shown below) don't have a convection oven, and are actually rather small.
