Humidifiers can cost anywhere from $20 to $200 and you might find yourself wondering if you're about to save money, or if you'll just end up spending more in the long run by buying a cheaper humidifier. To help you avoid any confusion and make the best decision, we've analyzed users' opinions on inexpensive humidifiers and here's what we've found:
When it comes to humidifiers, cheap means cheap; they are less attractive and less easier to use. Users also find them to be noisier than pricier models. On average, they are smaller and of lower capacity, which is unsurprising. Price-wise, we looked at models for under $30 while the average price for a humidifier is around $80. They are best suited for use in smaller rooms. When it comes to brands there are quite a few that have inexpensive models on offer, including Vicks and Honeywell.
Cheap may not be the best decision here. If you are still keen on keeping this expense low, and/or don't need it to last for more than a season, you'll probably be fine.
