How do you determine the quality of any product you buy? By the brand name? The amount of effort put into designing the packaging? Or perhaps by the list of ingredients? There are $3 and $30 masks with the same ingredients, how would you know which one to pick?
It's hard to determine quality just by looking at a product's packaging, especially when shopping online. In the department of facial treatments, there are many boutique brands you've likely never heard of, so making the choice can be even more complicated.
Buzzrake collected several hundred opinions from all over the web about masks, to find out what users are actually saying about these products' true quality. Each product was scored based on user feedback, and the top quality products are listed below. We did, however, come across some other interesting findings when analyzing user experience with facial masks:
- According to users, products with high quality ingredients tend to do a better job at treating breakouts. If you're worried that this means the masks are harsh and drying, don't be: users also report that these masks do a better-than-average job at leaving skin feeling soothed.
- Users feel that these products are more worthy of their cost than other products. They feel better about spending the money on high quality products, which isn't surprising.
- These products are more expensive than average, though. Average price of higher quality masks is around $34 or at least $11/ounce.
